Yale Center for British Art (YCBA) Offices
The interior of a 14,000sf early 20th century brick laboratory was retrofitted for this 2009 project. In 2006 the firm designed a major renovation of the building to accommodate a two-year relocation of Yale’s 85,000-volume Art and Architecture Library. This project capitalized on prior improvements, converting stack and reading room areas into offices, work areas, conference rooms and archive storage spaces for the new permanent occupants.
